I was pleased to discover that I didn't need to install any app to operate it. The basic functions are accessible directly on the device, and it performs its tasks without any issues. But it is better to use the app lol.
In addition to handling the cat litter, the robot does a great job picking up debris and cat hair from the floors. My cat sheds quite a bit, and I used to spend a lot of time sweeping and vacuuming to keep the hair from accumulating. Now, with the robot running regularly, there's much less cat hair floating around or settling on the furniture. It doesn't eliminate the need for cleaning entirely, but it certainly reduces the workload.
